Here's a Metroid fan-comic I made for a thread at VGF forums. Samus kicks someone in the nuts, so high-class humour abounds.

Things I liked: Samus' lock of hair on her right side, her umbrella drink, the background (Zarpa's Sword... anyone?).
Things that I didn't like: The action scenes aren't actiony enough, side-profile views aren't refined, Samus' hair when kicking, Samus getting back on her stool pose.

This comic took an unduly amount of time to create. It started with the comic idea, as it always does, and I was already thinking about a comic where Samus gets propositioned, and then she blows up the bar. This... didn't really work as well as I may've thought, so I stuck with (suitless) Samus just kicking the everloving crap out of some guy. The action frames were 'insprired' by Dead or Alive 2, either Helena or Lei Fang. So, having this rough idea, I went ahead and researched exactly what Samus looked like. Prelim sketches before hand depicts her as a 'serious' blonde with a pony tail and a strand of hair poking out, in the blue suit in Metroid: Zero Mission. Further research made me switch to the orange-coloured ensemble (to match her suit colour), and I switched up the hair a little. I drew lots of in-suit pics too, even though I never intended to have the suit in the comic. I like occupying my time like that, I guess.

Surprisingly enough, it is hard to draw someone kneeing someone in the nuts. I have a page of Samus crudely kneeing some guy over and over again. Poor guy. I pencilled out the storyboard, and I began drawing the comic panels (during studying for final exams, no less). Once I got home, I scanned in those pics and started the digital ink and colour job. I assembled the comic (throwing out some panels I thought were unnecessary) and voila.

So, I'd like to refine the comic making process more; dropping unnecessary details, but keeping most of the quality, etc. I suppose that will follow once I've made more comics ^.^()

Loved it. Although, isn't the password suppose to be "NARPAS SWORD"? Pretty sure it was but I didn't if you ment to do it differntly or not but great job none the less.

Nintendiehard here, lookin' for voice work. Still a voice acting amateur, but I has dreams as big as all-outdoors to be a pro one day. I'm just lookin' for some experience. So let me know if you wanna try me out, I'd love to audition.
