This is a particular character I draw an awful lot, usually when I have nothing particularly striking in mind to draw or I'm trying out a new style or way to draw stuff. She's based on someone I know online, but never actually seen, so originally all I had to go on was the Breath of Fire reference; I modified the vision to suit my abilities and capricious whims as a casual doodler.

In this particular pic, I tried out colourizing the line art to match the interior colours (instead of just leaving it as black), as well as some new shading techniques. The highlighing on the hair was a bit rushed, and I ended up drawing the feet too small, so I cropped them out on the wallpaper version (seen here).

I was messing around with blending and the background hues in Photoshop when I came up with the glowy wings; I set the background to black by accident and actually found it kinda nice, so I kept it that way. ^.^()
