Any savvy indie gamer should've played Cave Story (Doukutsu Monogatari) [link] by now. Well, there are some pretty memorable characters and character designs in that game. So, being the enterprising lecture-hall artist that I am, I drew out an 'epic' Cave Story scene. All the star players are there: Curly Brace, the protagonist beside her, Sue the plucky mimiga, and King the leader of mimigas. There's also the little guy reclining there too, for comic effect. The protagonist's got his trusty rocket launcher, Curly's got her machine gun, King's got his sword, and Sue has... her pluckiness.

I intend to digitally ink and colour this mofo in due time (finals, ack!). Maybe add Misery, Balrog, and some other bad guys in the background so the protagonists have some reason to be in their attack stance.
