10 - Albuquerque

My final entry to that Touhou comic contest. The deadline has come up, and some, you know, good artists have appeared. Anyways, this here comic's about Reimu Hakurei (and Cirno, that dim-witted frost faerie) being transported to the Albuquerque dimension, at the result of Yukari Yakumo, Youkai Mistress of Boundries. Profanity ensues. Slipped in some pop culture references: McDonalds, Snakes on a Plane, Weird Al.

I intended this one to be created in a more 'traditional' way; I had sketched out pencils which I intended to scan. The sketch ended up being too small to work with, so I just did the whole thing digitally. Laziness abounds in this comic; C & P-ed backgrounds, wireframe characters, and slapdash shading. I'm kind of ambivalent about this comic; on the one hand, I think it's pretty funny (but arbitrary), but on the other hand, it lacks a strong punchline.
